Hitachi TCDR's
TCDR-3000
All the Todd and Hitachi models that have all "0"s are Hitachi bus and
all the ones that end in "50" are SCSI. SO..... TCDR6000, TCDR3000, TCDR8000,
CDR6700, etc are Hitachi bus, while TCDR6050, TCDR3050, TCDR8050, CDR6750,
etc are SCSI bus. Some of the tower models might have letters after that
to designate which drive was inside. The TCDR3050S4 as above is a two
drive SCSI unit with Sanyo 4x drives.
TCDR-4000
The TCDR-4000 is based on the Hitachi bus which was a competing format
to the SCSI interface . Drives at the time were either 1x or 2x. It used
interface cards, drivers and cables only for this standard. This unit
does not connect to the parrallel port of a pc. This product is no longer
supported by Hitachi or Todd Enterprises. There are no parts for sale
or to use for repair for unit. Todd Enterprises sells a variety of replacement

TCDR-7000
The TCDR-7000 is based on the Hitachi bus which was a competing format
to the SCSI interface . Drives at the time were either 1x or 2x. It used
